Liquid International (LI), was registered in 1999, and began operations in 2000 primarily as a spare parts supplier. Being owner managed, and with a combined 31 years experience in the coffee and coffee equipment industry, we understand the unique requirements of the South African user profile. LI has therefore aligned itself with manufacturers who are adaptable in their approach, whilst maintaining world-class standards and offering “affordable superior quality”. LI currently holds the South African agencies for Fiamma, Thermoplan,Remidag and Fiel espresso equipment. Through years of communication and shared ideas with our suppliers, and with the emphasis on “affordable superior quality”, the equipment we import and distribute is ideally suited for the Southern African market. The range is versatile, in that it is adaptable between bean and POD, catering for small and large outlets, and of course the home barista.

A few of the benefits in dealing with LI are:

Quality, reliable workmanship.

Ability to facilitate customer specific sourcing.

Backward integration of spares (lowering spares cost).

Dealing with a small owner run/managed company.

Six Cups of Coffee  Freddie was eighteen years old, friendly, and eager to do things right. Unfortunately, he wasn't especially bright. He had just started his first job, as a delivery boy and general go-fer at a furniture warehouse. His first task was to go out for coffee. He walked into a nearby coffee shop carrying a large thermos. When the counterman finally noticed him, he held up the thermos. "Is this big enough to hold six cups of coffee?" he said. The counterman looked at the thermos, hesitated for a few seconds, then finally said, "Yeah. It looks like about six cups to me." "Good," Freddie said. "Give me two regular, two black, and two decaf."
